I designed, sewed up and wrote a pattern for the Easiest Table Runner Ever yesterday and today! Almost ready to go in my online shop, after the proof-readers get back to me and I make needed edits.

Bow Tied Tray

I wrote a new pattern last night, see photo.
I use it on trips, pack in my suitcase, use in hotels to keep my personal items in, or to have chips, popcorn, using it as a bowl.  It could be made in rectangles or squares. You could make one to fit your casserole dish to keep it warm while serving. The bows untie to lay it flat. It can be washed and dried in machine. Makes nice gifts.

Crocheting & Knitting Baby Hats

I've been crocheting and knitting newborn baby hats.  I was inspired by a friend, Kim, who helps her husband in his photography business. They've photographed babies. The trend now is to put funky or pretty knitted or crocheted hats on the naked newborn baby for it's first photos. She bought some from me, but, I was so inspired, I made lots of them. WOW! I sold my own design patterns (wholesale) to two quilt shops this month, (so far)! I hope this trend continues!

Today is a momentous day! I sold my first wholesale order of my own design patterns to a quilt shop!

I had my first online sale of my own patterns on etsy.com today. from someone in Australia this morning! THEN wow! You won't believe this, another of the same pattern sold tonight on etsy.com to a lady in Florida!

I've added a shop to my web site, with patterns I've designed and written for those just learning to sew. My newest is a cute skirt for little girls. There are also several types of bags and a pillow. Patterns can be downloaded or mailed. Click here to go to the shop.

RELIEF! My doctor took off the cast from my ankle yesterday!

Still have this cast on my broken ankle. I have not been sewing, but have been teaching sewing, just doing what I must to get by. I've had about 10 new students in the past two weeks! The cast may come off next Wednesday!
